Squash your dessert cravings
Fall is the perfect season to enjoy some acorn squash with mouth-watering fillings. I followed the below recipe the other night to curb my dessert craving while getting all the essential nutrients from the wholesome acorn squash. Acorn squash is rich in antioxidants, multiple vitamins and is a great source of fiber.
I made the following changes to the below recipe:
For sweetness, I used organic coconut manna and dates, rather than brown sugar.
I also used coconut flakes and cinnamon.
I added a lot of nuts in it to make it extra nutritious.
